WI presence at summer events

We will be at the Royal Welsh Show in Llanelwedd, Powys from 22 to 25 July. Hosted by Ceredigion Federation, the WI stand will be located in the South Glamorgan Hall. The stand on the theme ‘Sustainable is Attainable’ will be focusing on sustainability and will share actions that we can take to live more sustainably. Daily craft demonstrations and displays will focus on make-do and mend, upcycling, and looking after nature and our oceans.

The entries in the Rose Bowl (produce and handicraft) and Brecon Cup (floral art), based on the theme ‘A Welsh Myth or Legend’, will also be on display in the South Glamorgan Hall for everyone to enjoy.

We will also have a presence at the National Eisteddfod which will be held in Ynysangharad Park in Pontypridd from 3 to 10 August. Hosted by Glamorgan Federation, our stand will be promoting the wide-ranging opportunities offered through the WI and will highlight our current campaigns.
