Hosted by NFWI-Wales
Sponsored by Joyce Watson MS

18 November, 6pm until 7.30pm
Senedd, Cardiff Bay

A candlelight vigil will be held at the Senedd on Monday 18 November at 6pm to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and International White Ribbon Day. The vigil will hear from survivors, White Ribbon ambassadors, the Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice, and cross-party Members of the Senedd. The event will close with a performance from Llamau choir.

Weather permitting the event will be held outdoors on the steps of the Senedd. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held in the Senedd building with the exception of a short walk around the Pierhead building. Please bring your own candle. To minimise the risk of burns or wax spilling on the Senedd steps, please bring your candle in a holder/container/jar or bring a battery-operated LED candle.

Please confirm your attendance by completing the form below. If you have any questions about the event, please contact Sarah Thomas at NFWI-Wales: s.thomas@nfwi-wales.org.uk

The WI will use the details you provide on this form to send you information about the candlelight vigil.  Your personal information will only be accessed by NFWI staff involved in the event. A list of the names of confirmed attendees will be shared with the Senedd events team. The information you provide will be kept securely and will be destroyed by the NFWI after the event has been held.
