Dried flower wreath
You will need:
- Pampas grass
- Bunny Tails
- Dried Hydrangea
- Dried Palm spear
- Dried astilbe
- Any extra dried gypsophila, thistles or grasses
- Wire wreath base
- Ribbon
- Scissors
- Floristry Wire
To make:
Gather your dried grasses and flowers together, you’ll also need a simple wire hoop, ribbon, scissors and floristry wire to get started.
Take a pampas grass and wrap it around the bottom half of the wire wreath base leaving the end unwound and pointing outwards, Secure it with wire along the wire wreath.
Group 5-7 bunny tails together and add them along the wreath using the wire to secure and having the bunny tails pointing outwards with the pampas grass.
Continue the process of building along the woven pampas grass by adding in a dried palm spear again pointing outwards from the circular wreath.
Cut the stem of the hydrangea short and add the end of the hydrangea onto the base so that it is facing upwards.
Add another hydrangea next to it and an extra stem you have with the same technique. I’ve added in some dried astilbe behind the hydrangea pointing outwards again.
Use a short length of pampas to cover the exposed wire, you can secure using wire and pull the grass over the top to hide.
Add a ribbon to the wreath and it is ready to hang!
