Head of Wales

Rhian joined the WI in 1998 as Head of NFWI Wales and says the position has given her the opportunity to work across a variety of strands and to learn new and interesting things.

Prior to joining the WI, she gained degrees in Human Movement Studies and Sport Science as well as a City & Guilds Further & Adult Education Teaching Certificate.
Her previous positions included classroom assistant in a school for children with visual impairments; senior assistant manager in a busy city leisure centre; and development officer with the charity Scope.

Rhian enjoys playing tennis, walking, reading and working with stained glass.
