Jill Rundle
Chair of the Federations of Wales Committee
Jill was elected Chair of NFWI Federations of Wales Committee in 2023 and is also a member of the Board of NFWI (ex officio). She joined Llandogo WI in 2007 when she moved to the village of Llandogo in Monmouthshire.
Jill was soon a member of the Committee and served in all of the officer positions, including President. She became part of Gwent Federation of WIs a few years later, training as a WI Adviser and joining the Public Affairs Committee, of which she is still Chair.
In 2019 she was elected Chair of Gwent Federation, serving through the period of Covid restrictions, and stood down in 2023 to Chair the Wales Committee.
Jill spent 23 years of her life working in Human Resource Management as an HR Business Partner with a national charity. Since retiring she has amassed a variety of interests: working in outreach support for a local hospice; volunteering with Wye Valley AONB on footpath preservation and stone walling; she is a churchwarden for the village church; she plays Bridge, swims and plays walking netball.
Jill continues to be an active member of Llandogo WI, is a dual member of Chepstow WI and continues to work on WI campaigns, particularly issues which are unique to the women of Wales and the preservation of their culture.
